Kashmir Lawyers Body To Stay Away From Work Today, Tomorrow

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Srinagar on Wednesday condemned the widespread raids of NIA against almost whole resistance leadership, extensive spree of arrests in nooks and corners of Kashmir Valley and announced to stay away from courts today and tomorrow.
In a statement issued here, the lawyers’ body said that thousands have been put behind the bars. “We have decided to support the strike call given by the pro-freedom leadership for 27th and 28th of February and (KHCBA) request its members to abstain from court work on these days,” the statement added.
