JRL calls for shutdown on Feb 27 and 28

Srinagar: Joint resistance leadership on Tuesday called for a shutdown on February 27 and 28 against the ‘colonial acts of Indian rulers’.

According to statement issued here JRL said that widespread raids of NIA against almost whole resistance leadership, extensive spree of arrests in noks and corners of Kashmir valley during which thousands have been put behind bars and threats to tinker with state subject law’.

“Kashmiris cannot watch all this silently and mutely,” JRL said.

JRL comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik has called for a complete shutdown for two days, on Feb 27, 28 against what they called, the ‘colonial acts of Indian Rulers’.
