People in Kashmir woke to frost and icy conditions in the morning after temperatures plunged to minus 5.7 degree Celsius in Srinagar, minus 9.0 in Qazigund, minus 12.7 in Pahalgam, minus 7.4 in Kupwara, Kokernag minus 7.7 and Gulmarg 14.4 degree Celsius.
