People in Kashmir woke to frost and icy conditions in the morning after temperatures plunged to minus 5.7 degree Celsius in Srinagar, minus 9.0 in Qazigund, minus 12.7 in Pahalgam, minus 7.4 in Kupwara, Kokernag minus 7.7 and Gulmarg 14.4 degree Celsius.

Pedestrian and motorists faced slippery conditions as roads turned icy, after two days of snowfall. However, conditions eased after sun shine as the day progressed on Saturday.    Pictures by Zargar Zahoor
