Srinagar: As the Srinagar-Jammu highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir with rest of the world, remained closed, the authorities on Saturday said that decision would be taken about opening or otherwise of the thoroughfare tomorrow.
“In view of snow accumulation at Banihal- Jawahar Tunnel-Qazigund stretch, intermittent landslides/shouting stones between Ramban- Banihal stretch, the decision regarding the
vehicular movement on highway shall be taken on February 10 after assessing the weather/
road condition,” a traffic department official said.
