Srinagar: Weatherman on Thursday predicted an improvement in weather condition from Friday forenoon in Valley.

“Significant improvement in weather from tomorrow forenoon from Kashmir, afternoon from Jammu & Ladakh region,” Sonam lotus said.

The forecaster said that the outlook for subsequent 5 days looks like light rain, snow.

“It is continuously snowing at most parts of kashmir, Pirpanjal, hilly areas of Jammu and some parts of Ladakh( Kargil, Drass, Zanskar & some area of Leh dist.). As expected many places of Jamu, Kashmir & Ladakh( especially Kargil dist.) received heavy to very heavy snow resulting in disruption of surface and Air Transport,” Lotus said, adding that they  are expecting gradual decrease in snowfall from this evening.
