Anantnag: Burglars struck at least 10 households in south Kashmir Larkipora village in Anantnag district in night hours and decamped with valuables worth lakhs.

The burglaries took place during intervening night of Tuesday-and wendesday

Police sources told INS that that burglars had entered the houses through windows and decamped with cash, gold, electric gadgets worth lacs.

Though police claimed of having activated new nakas besides lifting of suspects but the village is simmering with anger against authorities for not being able to crack a whip on burglars.

Meanwhile police have registered a case and started investigation.
