Highways opens for one-way traffic after three days

Srinagar: Traffic authorities have allowed the movement of vehicles from Srinagar to Jammu today.

A spokesman of the department said that traffic movement on Jammu Srinagar NHW on 05.02.19 that is today shall be allowed from Srinagar towards Jammu.

He said that both for LMVs/HMVs have been allowed to move towards Jammu however,  LMV’s shall cross Pantha Chowk, Peaks Chowk from 0700 hrs to 1100 hrs, from Levdora 0830 hrs to 1300 hrs, thereafter HMVs shall be allowed.

The spokesman said that the movement of the vehicles has been allowed after an improvement in weather conditions.
