Kulgam: District authorities on Tuesday acted tough against private coaching centers who have not be authorised by the competent authorities, and sealed at least seven of them for dereliction of official orders.

An official said that they acted upon the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ghulam Hassan Sheikh and sealed seven unauthorized coaching, private tuition centers.

The team was accompanied by Tehsildar kulgam and AD planning of CEO office, the team pulled down the banners and sealed the offices of these tuition centers.

“Stern warning has been given to the owners to avoid operation of private tuition centers till all the formalities including registration are granted to them,” an official told INS.

According to the district administration official  nobody will be allowed to flout the government order for grant of registration to the tuition centers. “Lack of minimum facilities like separate toilet points for boys and girls, heating arrangements, proper accommodation and well trained staff have rendered these centers ineligible,” he said, adding that strict compliance to Govt Order of 435 is a must and pre-requisite for grant of registration.
