Authorities said that the stranded traffic will be given priority and only those vehicles travelling towards Srinagar will ply on the road.

“No opposite traffic will be allowed today,” they said.

Almost 3,000 vehicles, mostly trucks, are stranded on the stretch.

The road was closed again on Sunday evening due to slippery conditions of the road.

Meanwhile a vehicle reportedly rolled down at Narnu area of Bhaderwah Doda.

Further details awaited.
