Anantnag: A 26-year-old youth died of electric shock here in Anantnag District area after a low tension line fell on him in Kanganhall village of Anantnag district.

Sources said that a LT Line wire fell down on a man on Friday afternoon in kanganhall village resulting the death of a person namely Tawseef Ahmad Ganie son of Ghulan Mohammad Ganie resident of Kanganhall Anantnag.

He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile police has registered a case under relevant sections and started investigation.
