Repora Ganderbal reels under darkness, damaged transformer yet to be installed back

Ganderbal: The residents of Repora Lar area of Central Kashmir Ganderbal district are accusing  Power development department (PDD) of callous attitude towards public as transformer that had developed technical snag is yet to be repaired.

 

The residents said that their 100 KVA transformer was damaged and they are reeling under darkness since past 10 days.

 

They said that they had several times complained to PDD authorities regarding this issue but concerned department have not taken any initiative.

Residents said that higher officials of PDD are not serious about the problems being faced by locals of Magray Mohalla and Rather Mohalla Repora Balla on daily basis.

 

Incharge Executive Engineer PDD Ganderbal Nisar Ahmad said that the transformer was sent to the workshop on 23rd January and the same will be installed after being repaired within three days.
