PM’s visit: Advisors Kumar, Krishnan visit Vijaypur, review security, arrangements for VVIP visit

Jammu: Advisors to Governor, K Vijay Kumar and Skandan Krishnan today visited AIIMS site at Vijaypur to inspect the arrangements being made for the Prime Minister’s visit on February 03 for laying foundation stone of the prestigious project.
ADGP Security Muneer Khan, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sanjeev Verma, IGP Jammu Manish K Sinha, DIG Jammu-Kathua Range Vivek Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Samba Sushma Chouhan, SSP Samba Dr Kaushal Kumar, Chief Engineer R&B, Sudhir Shah, CMO Samba besides, senior Police and other concerned officers were present at the site.
The Advisors took round of the site along with the senior concerned officers and inspected the pace of the ongoing works there.
IGP Jammu briefed the Advisors about the security arrangements being made for the VVIP visit including traffic management plan to ensure parking of vehicles coming to the site and smooth movement of traffic on national highway on the day of mega event. Other arrangements related to security were also discussed in detail.
Deputy Commissioner Samba informed the Advisors about the status of the ongoing works related to installation of stage, seating arrangements for VIPs & general public, toilet facilities, installation of sound system, medical facilities, supply of drinking water, power supply including gen set arrangement etc. She told that all the works in connection with the visit are going at good pace and will be completed in time.
It was told that at the venue, over 100 bio-chemical toilets have been installed for general public and 10 for the use of VIPs.
After having detailed review, Advisor Kumar expressed satisfaction over the arrangements being made for the PM visit and hoped that all the related works are finished well in time. He called for close coordination among all the agencies involved in the smooth conduct of Prime Minister’s visit on February.
