The employees of Saakshar Bharat Mission (SBM) on Tuesday protested here demanding, pending salaries and regularization of their services.

Protesting SBM Employees assembled inside Premises of Mini Secretrait Bandipora and raised slogans against Government.

“All the SBM employees and their families are in mental trauma as our salary of three years is pending,” they claimed.

Zahoor Ahmad President SBM Bandipora speaking to INS said that despite working with dedication, employees have been ‘neglected as not even a single person has been regularized from past 10 years despite repeated Assurances from Govt’.

“It is astonishing to see category of Employees engaged for 2 years were inducted in SRO 520, and we are still waiting for regularization from past 7 years,” he said.

Protesting Employees later submitted a memorandum to District Administration.
