Shopian : Suspected militants attacked with UBGL grenade at army’s 44 army camp located in Ahgam village of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday evening.
However, officials said alert sentry at the Army camp retaliated. However there was no loss of life or injury reported so far.
SSP Shopian told INS that militants fired from a distance on 44 RR Camp at Ahgam. “Alert sentry retaliated. There was no loss of life and property.”
He said that entire areas has been cordoned off and searches launched.
