Kupwara: Non Gazetted Forest Employees on Wednesday  held a protest demonstration In forest complex Zangli  against the authorities for failing to accept  the long pending demands of the employees seeking removal of Pay Anomaly and release of two and half day extra salary.

 

The employees assembled in the forest complex Zangli raising slogans in favour of their long pending demand and holding placards.

An employee Farooq Ahmad Dar said that  they have been demanding their rights for years now.

All employees across Jammu and Kashmir are on pen down strike but authorities seem not moved by their plight.

“Over 110 employees have died on the line of duty while fire fighting and have came under the attack of wild animals, but the authorities are still turing deaf ears to our requests. Depsite working for over the decades for the department,”  Farooq said

He said that, (NGFOA J&K) has warned the authorities to change callous attitude towards forest employees and resolve the demands within shortest time.
