Ganderbal: Scores of residents protested against power development department (PDD) and blocked Srinagar-Sonamarg highway at Nagbal area of Central kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Saturday.

Protesters alleged that the department is not providing them the adequate electricity.

Residents said that higher officials of PDD are not serious about the problems being faced by locals of Nagbal on daily basis.

“They are not providing us electricity on scheduled time,” locals said.

D.O Nagbal Lateef Ali pacified the protesters assuring them that their complaint will be taken up with higher ups.
