Ten men buried under snow avalanche,  rescue operation launched

Leh: At least ten persons have been stuck under snow after they came under snow avalanche in Khardugla area in Ladakh.

An official told INS that two tippers and a scorpio carrying about twelve persons had gone towards K-top in the early hours today to load snow and to bring me back to Leh. “One tipper was already loaded with snow. However, when they were busy in loading another vehicle, suddenly an avalanche occurred and as a result one tipper with ten persons came under the avalanche,” he said.
