Ganderbal: Scores of residents including women protested against power development department (PDD) and PHE department and blocked Sumbal-Manigam highway at Repora Lar byepass area of Central kashmirs Ganderbal on Wednesday. 
The protesters alleged that they are without electricity from past week and portable water supply to the area too has been stopped.
Protesters alleged that higher officials of PHE and PDD department are not serious about the problems being faced by locals of Lar particularly Repora and Kharnihama on daily basis.
SHO Lar Nisar Ahmad Hurra  pacified the protesters assuring them that their complaint will be taken up with higher officials
