The people visiting the Civil Secretariat Jammu while talking to INS complained that the mobile phones stop functioning after they enter into the Civil Secretariat Jammu, therefore leaving them to lurch at large.

“I was scheduled to meet one of the officers at Civil Secretariat over some grievances but had no knowledge about his office. When I tried to contact him via phone, there were no towers on my phones, thus forced me to go from pillar to post to find the office of an officer in Civil Secretariat,” Ashiq Ahmad, a local from Kashmir said.

He added that the authorities keeping in view of the sufferings of people must ensure proper towers at Civil Secretariat.

Another local from Jammu echoed similar views in this regard, saying that the delegations visiting the Civil Secretariat are being forced to face hardships in absence of proper network connectivity inside the premises of Civil Secretariat Jammu.

The cellular mobile phones is of no use inside the Civil Secretariat as only landline connections are working properly there, thus leaving other visitors to lurch at large.

“Mobile phones are important in 21st century as it helps a man in various aspects but at the same time depriving the users inside the Civil Secretariat premises is sheer injustice,” he added.
