Budgam: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Khurshid Ahmad Sanai on Saturday suspended 26 government employees for unauthorized absence from duty, during a surprise inspection of various offices.

During the inspection, 21 employees of Power Development Department (PDD) and five employees of Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department were found absent from duty without any authorization.

The ADDC ordered immediate suspension of the absent employees. He said that there will be zero tolerance against the dereliction of duty by employees.

He further directed employees to perform their duty regularly and ensure prompt services to the general public.
