Govt forms panel to examine desirability of appointing outstanding sportspersons

Srinagar: The government accorded sanction to the constitution of a committee to examine the desirability of appointing Outstanding Sportspersons against Gazetted posts.
Headed by Commissioner Secretary GAD, the five-member committee has been asjed to submit its report within 15 days. The other members include Secretary Youth Services and Sports (member secretary), Secretary law, justice and parliamentary affairs, secretary J&K State Sports Council, Additional Secretary GAD.
