Kulgam: Kulgam girl has made her parents proud,  even though she is not the number one but she is among the top five of the recently declared Standard 12th results.  She grabbed second position.
She lives in a far flung area of Kulgam, DK Marg which is atleast 35 kms away from the main town Kulgam.
Urooma Abid-Ul Nazneen D/O, Abid Maqsood Ali from DK Pora kulgam, emerged as the  Medical stream topper in the Kulgam district, who bagged 2nd position in Kulgam district,  with 96% marks, from Govt. Higher Secondary School DK Marg Kulgam.
Her father is a  Govt Employee in Education department.
Her mother, Nazneen Hassan is a house wife.
“It’s grace of Almighty Allah and thanks to my parents and teachers also, my brother who always supported me,” she said.
She said her mantra had been ‘just keep working hard, don’t give up in your life, and keep faith in Allah’s will’.
“Now my future plans is to crack the NEET exams and for that I am doing coaching in Srinagar,” said Urooma.
Her parents say that she is a hardworking student from her early age.
