In pictures: Major snowfall in Kashmir

Across Kashmir Valley, snow falls of six inches to over a foot were recorded.  The ski resort of Gulmarg and other higher reaches across the Valley have seen much snow in two days, bringing joy to tourism players who are hoping to see arrival of the tourists in huge numbers. The maximum temperatures have also plummeted. There are reports that major road are being cleared by the state administration headed by governor.
