Highway closed till further orders as snow accumulates along the stretch

Srinagar:  The vehicular movement has been stopped on Jammu-Srinagar highway  due to snow accumulation in various areas along the stretch.

Traffic police said that snow has accumulated in Banihal, Nowgam, Jawahar Tunnel Sector. “Decision regarding allowing the vehicular movement on Jammu-Srinagar highway shall be taken after clearance of the road and taking into consideration the weather condition,” he said.
