Ganderbal: A lineman of Power Development Department was electrocuted in Dobipora area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday evening.
According to reports that a PDD lineman namely Abdul Rehman Rather Son of Ghulam Mohammad Rather of Arampora Ganderbal got electrocuted while repairing a wire at Dobipora. He was shifted to district hospital Ganderbal for treatment.
While residents blamed the PDD for “negligence” , SHO Ganderbal Arshid Ahmad told INS that police has taken cognizance of the incident. He said that lineman hospitalized and “he is stated to be out of danger.”
