Jammu: Government forces have cordoned off area under police station Bari-Brahamana in Jammu division and search operation is underway to nab the suspected persons who opened fire at the 03 Brigade Officer Quarter Post during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.

An official said that at about 0230 Hrs, two suspected persons fired on santary at Ratnuchak of 03 (i)Brigade Officer Quarter Post under the jurisdiction of P/S Bari-Brahamana.

“Santary retaliated fire on suspected persons. reportedly one suspect got injured. Area has been cordoned off and search operation is going on in the area,” he said.
