Awantipora : Following killing of a militant in a gunbattle in Rinzipora area of Awantipora in Pulwama, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora, has suspended classwork and postponed all its exams scheduled to be held on Friday.
Registrar of the university told INS over phone that all the exams scheduled to be held today have been postponed. He said that classwork is also suspended.
The decision according to sources was taken in view of an encounter, which took place at Awantpora this morning and ended with the killing of one militant.
However, mobile Internet services are also suspended in the region to avoid any law and order problem in the area.
