Group Mediclaim Insurance Policy comes to end,  J&K Government orders cancellation of policy

Srinagar: Government on Friday ordered cancellation of J&K Group Mediclaim Insurance Policy for all State Gov Employees including employees of PSUs, Autonomous bodies, universities, Pensioners, AIS officers. The cancellation will come into effect from midnight of 31st December 2018.

According to an order government said that sanction is accorded to  the revocation, withdrawal of Govt order regarding the implementation of the group mediclaim insurance policy for all State Gov Employees including employees of PSUs, Autonomous bodies, universities, Pensioners, AIS officers etc with effect from  midnight of 31st December 2018.

“Accordingly all the DDOs concerned are directed to not deduct the premium regarding the GMIP from the salaries of the employees henceforth,” the order issued today reads.
