Tral : A complete shutdown is being observed on third consecutive day in South Kashmir’s Awantipora and Tral township of Pulwama on Monday against the killing of six Ansar Ghazwat Ul Hind militants.
All the shops, business establishments, and other offices are closed while public transport is off the roads to mourn the killings.
On December 22, six AGH militants including Soliha Mohammad Akhoon, Rasik Mir, Rouf Mir, Umer Ramzan, Nadeem Sofi, and Faisal Javid Khanday, were killed in a gunfight at Arampora area of Tral sub district.
Meanwhile, large number of people from different areas of Tral and Awantipora continued to visit the houses of slain militants to offer condolences.
