Jammu: Authorities have ordered closure of schools in areas near Line of control in Keri and Lam in Rajouri district of Jammu division of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Authorities said that the decision was taken after Pakistan opened fire on Indian posts at at Lam, Pukharni and Peer badaser area of Naushera sector of Rajouri.

“Immediate closure of schools in 0-5 KMs area of LoC in Keri and Lam in Rajouri has been ordered,” they said.
