FCS&CA Kashmir celebrates National Consumer Day

Srinagar: The Directorate of Food and Civil Supplies (FCS&CA) today organized a function here at Kothi Bagh Higher Secondary School to mark the National Consumer Day.
The function was presided over by Director FCS&CA Mohammad Qasim Wani, who informed the students about this year’s theme, “Timely Disposal of consumer complaints.”
The Director highlighted the achievements and services of the Department, besides its initiatives to reach out to the poor and underprivileged sections of the society.
He asked the consumers to know about their rights and sought their cooperation for better functioning of the department.
He also mentioned that all ADs have been asked to work with zeal and enthusiasm to improve overall image of department and provide timely ration supplies to public at their doorstep in future.
Besides, noted poet Zarif Ahmad Zarif, representatives of various departments, traders were present on the occasion.
