Jammu:  DC Excise Muried Shah suspended, under scanner for conduct

JAMMU:  Government suspended Syed Muried Hussain Shah (KAS), DC Excise Jammu and an enquiry has been launched into his conduct.

An official handout said that pending enquiry into his conduct in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956, Syed Muried Hussain Shah (KAS), DC Excise Jammu, under orders of transfer as Director Land Management, Jammu Development Authority (JDA) has been placed under suspension with immediate effect.

“During his suspension, Shah will remain attached with the General Administration Department,” official handout said.
