Vaid discusses road safety with governor

Jammu: Dr. S.P. Vaid, Transport Commissioner, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today. Dr. Vaid briefed Governor about various initiatives launched by him in  the Transport Department for providing quality services at a reasonable cost and various other matters of administrative importance. Governor discussed with Dr. Vaid ways and means to improve the road safety and ensuring that only trained drivers and mechanically fit vehicles ply on the roads thus minimizing any chance of a road accident and pollution.
