Govt forces launch CASO in Sopore Village

CASO in Sopore village, militants reportedly escape in Hajin after brief gunfight

Sopore: Government forces on early Monday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Kranshivan village of Sopore in North Kashmir.
Official sources told INS that following specific information about presence of militants, a joint search operation was launched by Special Operation Group (SOG) of police Sopore , 52 Rashtriya Rifles of Army and paramilitary CRPF’s 177 battalion in Minipora mohalla of Krankshivon village.
The government forces were conducting door-to-door search in the area when last reports came in, the reports said.
