Police arrests six gamblers, stake money recovered

Srinagar: Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested six gamblers in Noorbagh area of Srinagar and recovered Rs 13500 stake money from the gambling site.

A police spokesperson said a police party of police post Noorbagh raided a gambling site at Guzerbal Noorbagh.

He said during the raid six gamblers were arrested and stake money of rupees 13,500 was recovered from the gambling site.

“A case under relevant sections of law was registered and investigation has been taken up,” he added.
