Hard-core instigator booked under PSA in Bla: Police

Srinagar, Jan 20: Acting tough against the ANEs, Jammu and Kashmir Police in Baramulla on Saturday said to have booked a hard-core instigator under J&K Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.

The accused instigator identified as Nasir Ahmad Ganie son of Ghulam Mohammad Ganie resident of Raipora Palhallan Pattan have been booked under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority. The booked person has been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jammu, a police spokesman said.

Pertinent to mention here that the said accused person is a hard-core Instigator and many cases are registered against him and was involved in disturbance of L&O and subversion. Despite his involvement in many FIRs, he did not mend his anti-national activities and was again involved in instigating and disturbing peaceful environment, police said.
