Srinagar:  Gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Kuthpora Chatergam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday morning.

Reports said that a joint team of army’s 50RR, CRPF and SOG cordoned off the area Kuthpora area.
“While the forces intensified searches towards suspected house the hiding militants fired upon goverment forces triggering an gunfight, ” Police said.

SSP Budgam, Tejinder singh confirmed that gunfight between militants and forces is underway.
