Civilian suffers pellet injury in eye as protests erupt near Budgam gunfight site

Budgam: A civilian suffered injury in his right eye with pellets fired by government forces to quell protesters near gunfight site at Chattergam in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.
Sources said that the civilian was rushed to Sub District Hospital Chattergam from where he was shifted to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for specialized treatment. BMO CHattergam told INS that the civilian has injury in right eye.
Reportedly two militants were killed and three soldiers injured in the gunfight that started early today between militants and army’s 50RR, paramilitary CRPF and police’s SOG.
