Correction: 28-year-old carpenter critically injured in firing by army in Budgam

Budgam: One person identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Ganie (28) son of Nazir Ahmad Ganie of Magraypora Khanda was critically injured allegedly in firing by army in central Kashmir’s Budgam district. Ishfaq , a carpenter by profession, was fired upon outside an army camp at Chattergam in the district on Friday evening, the locals said. However, it could not be immediately established why firing took place.  Police said that details are being ascertained.  A police officer said that Ishfaq has not died but his condition was stated to be critical at SMHS hospital where he has been admitted.
