Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister and National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah on Thursday said that his party would have given outside support to the new coalition government in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said that the people democratic party had asked his party for a letter of support but: “I told them I can’t give the same without discussing with NC core group.”

Responding to Governor’s allegations of horse-trading, Omar said: “Governor sahab said that there is horse trading, money being exchanged. Who was doing all this, if the governor had reports then it should be found who was exchanging money. People have the right to know says.”

To another question over allegations of Pakistan’s support by BJP’s Ram Madhav, Omar said, “Mr Ram Madhav you are insulting my colleagues who have died. My workers have died and you are telling us that we are dancing on the tunes of Pakistan. If you are brave enough show us the evidence or apologise.”
