Shopian: Five including three girls injured in clashes near gunfight site, three referred to Srinagar

Shopian: Five persons have been injured in clashes between forces and people in south kashmir’s Shopian village near encounter site on Tuesday.

Reports said five persons including 3 girls sustained injured in clashes at Nadigam where encounter took place early this morning and have been shifted to district hospital Shopian.

Injured girls have been identified Simran Jan, Meenu Jan and Rafia Jan. They have suffered pellet injuries while Bilal Ahmad suffered pellet injury in an eye.

A source said that Simran has suffered bullet injury in her abdomen while Meenu Jan and Rafia Jan have been hit by bullets in feet and leg respectively.

Hospital sources told INS  that they have received five injured in which three has been referred to Srinagar for further treatment.

Meanwhile massive clashes has been erupted in Pulwama town after the news spread one among four militants is from Pricha mollah of town.

Youths took to streets and pelted stones and bricks on forces who was already deployed in town who they retailated with tear smoke shells to dispers them
