Missing youth’s family protests in Press Enclave, demand whereabouts

A family from Tengpora area of Batamaloo on Tuesday staged a protest to demand the whereabouts of their beloved who according to them went missing on September 27 this year.
The family and relatives of Ubaid Ahmad Dar assmebled at Srinagar’s press enclave and chanted slogans like ‘we want justice’.
They demanded independent inquiry to find the whereabouts of their beloved.
Talking to INS, Ubaid’s father, Altaf Ahamd Dar said that his beloved went missing on September 27 this year, saying that the friends of Ubaid have allegedly killed him while as the police was sheidling the killers so far.
He said that those involved in the killing of their beloved son should be arrested and stringent action must be taken against them.
The family demanded independent probe into the incident, appealing the higher ups to look into the matter and deliver justice to the family.
The protesters later dispersed peacefully.
