Jammu: An army soldier was injured critically in alleged sniper firing by Pakistani troops along the line of control Lam area in Nowshera sector along the Line of Control of Rajouri district on Tuesday.

The soldier has been identified as Sepoy Rahul T V of 54 Rashtriay Rifles and his condition is stated to be critical.

Three soldiers and an Army porter were killed and five others injured in Pallanwalla sector of Jammu district, Sunderbani and Nowshera sectors in Rajouri and Mankote sector of Poonch earlier this month.
