TRAL : A punjabi writer from Tral area of Southern Kashmir has been nominated for an award for his outstanding contribution in the field of writing.
Resident of Gamiraz hamlet in Tral sub division, writer Popinder Singh Paras, is an Editor, Sheerasa Punjabi, Jammu and Kashmir, academy of Art, Culture and Languages, who has been a regular punjabi writer.
Popinder has been nominated to “Samaj Bhushan Sanman” award 2018, which will be given to him on 22nd of November, from Kaave Rangoli Sahitya Lakhempur, Utter Pardesh, for his contribution in the field of translation Punjabi novelette ‘Lahoo De Aansoo’ into Hindi ‘Khoon Ke Aansoo’
The writer has a long experience in writing and has been awarded through state and national level many times before, as he is well versed in literature.
Talking to INS, Popinder said that, he’s very happy after he was nominated for this award, which is one of his “big achievements”
He said that “Young writers should concentrate to literature books of eminent writers, threadbare discussion needs to be adopt”
Various fraternities have congratulated, Popinder Singh, on this occasion.
