Kupwara: Two Pakistani born women secured win in the forth coming Panchayat polls as Sarpanch after they went unopposed  from a Halqa at Pringroo Handwara and Khumriyal in northern Kashmirs kupwara district.

As Per the sources, Two Women had filed their nomination from Pringroo Halqa in Handwara, But after some time one among the two women’s withdrew her nomination form making the the Pakistani born sarpanch of Pringroo Halqa.

Sources identified the women, as the Pakistani  and is Karachi born who along her husband had came back from Pakistan some two years back, since then the duo are living here in Handwara area of northern kahsmirs kupwara district.

Sources identified her as Dilshada Begum wife of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat resident of Pringroo Mawer Handwara.

Sources said that, Husband of the uncontested sarpanch is an Ex-militant who was married to her some years back in Karachi Pakistan, But are now settled here in northern belts kupwara district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Sources added that another woman from Muzafferabad in Pakistan who is stalled has also secured a win as Sarpanch in the upcoming panchahyat polls.

She has been identified as Arifa Begum (35) and had come to this part of Kashmir along with her husband Ghulam Mohammad Mir via Nepal in 2010.

According to the family members, they have came back through Nepal border from Pakistan more than a decade ago, she will preside over as Sarpanch of her Halqa in Khumriyal.
