Tral : Farmers in Tral sub district are demanding compensation for crop damages to apple orchards they incurred following recent snowfall. 
Scores of farmers in Chewa Ullar, Panner and Mandoora areas of Tral told INS that they have suffered huge damage in apple orchards.
Ghulam Mohammad of Chewa Ullar village said that they had incurred huge losses due to unexpected snowfall.
“Despite huge damages to orchards in Mandoora, Panner and Chewa village, none of the official have visited us,” he claimed.
Hilal Ahmad, Sub District Horticultural Officer Tral, told INS that, they have launched survey to assess the loss.
