Reports  said that that four back to back funeral prayers were held for slain militant Idrees Sultan from Safnagri village. “He was laid rest in a local graveyard here,” locals said.

Similarly three back to back funeral prayers were held for slain Amir Hussian from Awneera village of Shopian.

The duo were killed at Safnagri village of Shopian in a “gunfight” that police said erupted after government forces laid siege of the village.
Idreess was formerly a territorial Army man before joining Hizbul Mujahideen. He was active since April 15 while Amir Hussian was active since May 23.
