Sheikh Imran elected as Deputy Mayor SMC

Srinagar: Congress Party backed Sheikh Imran has been elected as the deputy Mayor of Srinagar Municipal Corporation on Tuesday.

According to sources Imran secured thirty five votes and his opponent bagged 34 votes.

“He won by one vote,” sources said.

Earlier Junaid Azim Matoo was elected as the Mayor of SMC. He is backed by Sajad Gani Lone’s Peoples Conference.
