Forces detect IED in Pulwama village

Pulwama:  Government forces detected on Friday detected and Improvised Explosive Devices planted by suspected militants on a road side in nikas village of Pulwama.

The explosives, an IED, was detected near Pulwama-Shopian highway, weighing almost 5 kg.

The IED was later disposed off by Bomb disposal squad, who according to officials, have averted a major tragedy.

 

Meanwhile police has taken cognizance in the incident.
